Flavor Kist

The Flavor Kist brand was born after World War II, when Schulze & Burch shifted their focus back to quality consumer products from Army contracting work. The brand saw its breakthrough in the 1940s with the introduction of a new type of cracker that was thinner, crispier and had a more golden bake than competitors. They were coined “saltines” and brought several firsts to the market, including the first 4-sleeve wrap packaging.

Flavor Kist has evolved from crackers in the time since, but the commitment to high quality, delicious products remains the same. Produced exclusively by Schulze & Burch, Flavor Kist is a known and trusted name that features premier quality snack foods available in grocery, drug and convenience stores.

Products currently available under Flavor Kist:

Trail Mix Bars
Sweet & Salty Granola Bars
Crunchy Granola Bars
Chewy Granola Bars
Cereal Bars

Toast’em Pop-Ups

In partnership with General Foods, Schulze & Burch produced the very first toaster pastry, Toast’em Pop-Ups, in 1964. Toast’em Pop-Ups made breakfast quicker, easier and tastier than ever before. We know a good thing when we see it, and Schulze & Burch acquired the brand in 1971.

Over the years, we’ve made continual improvements to the manufacturing process to deliver an even better product for our consumers. Toast’em Pop-Ups offer multiple variety pack configurations and have a better taste than our competition. Our 85+ years of baking experience in conjunction with our state of the art production facility allow us to create the highest quality product on the market.

Yarnell’s Premium Ice Cream

Schulze & Burch welcomed Yarnell’s Premium Ice Cream, one of the most beloved brands in the Mid-South, to our family of products in 2011. The Yarnell’s story began much earlier, in 1932, with founder Ray Yarnell delivering ice cream in 5-gallon metal cans to local drug stores and ice cream parlors during the Great Depression. Customers have literally loved this ice cream for generations.

We honored all that rich history by keeping the iconic name, formulas and recipes. Yarnell’s is still made in Searcy, Arkansas, and customers still love the down-home goodness of heritage flavors like Homemade Vanilla and Ozark Black Walnut. As a manufacturing leader and innovator, we are committed to continual improvement – all while carrying on the Yarnell’s Premium Ice Cream tradition.
