1990'sIn 1992, Schulze & Burch innovated the category again with the introduction of Snackin' Fruits® Pastry Bars, a new fruit-filled product in Cherry, Apple and Strawberry flavors. After conducting extensive research in new technologies, Schulze & Burch invested in a leading edge, world-class processing line, making possible various fruit-based product combinations. Toast‘em Toaster Pastries were reformulated, with a new proprietary flavor system resulting in a superior taste and a moister filling. A reformulation of our Private Label toaster pastries improved the product and resulted in increased sales - outperforming branded competition by a good margin. |
2000Growth and expansion continued with the addition of our new plant in Searcy, Arkansas. Centrally located to better serve our customer base, able to deal with allergen ingredients and processes, this 500,000 square foot operation gives increased production capacity and flexibility. Designed with high efficiency energy consumption components, the Searcy operation is an example of Schulze & Burch's commitment to sustainability. |
